Best Hotels Near Teton Village, Jackson Hole

Five years ago, you wouldn’t want to stay in Teton Village after the ski season ended. Sure, it had the highest concentration of luxury hotels in the valley, but summers out there were so quiet. Soooo quiet. You had to drive into Jackson for dining and entertainment. That’s all changed now. With a newish mountain biking park, outdoor concerts, improved hiking trails, and restaurants with some of the valley’s best decks, today’s Teton Village is a year-round base camp. Oh, and Grand Teton National Park is a mile away, too. (Note that in winter the Moose-Wilson Rd., which goes into the park from Teton Village, is closed. You can still get into the heart of the park, but you have to drive around to get to Moose.) It’s now possible to stay a week in Teton Village, any time of year, and never come into Jackson—not that you’d want to!

1 Hotel Terra

A rooftop, heated-saltwater infinity pool and Coyuchi linens prove that green doesn’t equal mean at silver LEED-certified Hotel Terra. Developed by former professional extreme skier Rob DesLauriers (who has also starred in upwards of 20 movies), the most modern of Teton Village’s hotels has art made from reclaimed barn wood in its lobby and furniture made from bamboo in rooms.

2 Teton Mountain Lodge

With the biggest variety of suite options of any hotel in the village, TML is a favorite with groups of friends and families not only for its wood-and-stone interiors, but also because even its smallest kitchenettes allow for in-room entertaining. TML’s The Spur restaurant is also one of the village’s best après-ski scenes.

3 Four Seasons Resort Jackson Hole

Even with winter ski lifts, hiking trails, an adventure ropes course and a summer mountain bike park immediately out its doors, it’s difficult to tear yourself away from this hotel’s oversized rooms—even the smallest of which are 500 square feet.  Enticements also include the heated outdoor pool and a nearly 12,000-square foot spa.

4 Snake River Lodge and Spa

It’s not ski-in/ski-out, but Snake River Lodge and Spa is no more than a couple minutes’ walk from the lifts, which travelers don’t seem to mind for some of the most affordable luxury rooms in Teton Village. The traditional western-décor hotel also has a huge pool, but with plenty of eating options nearby, we’d skip the hotel restaurant.

5 Fireside Resort

A five-mile drive towards Wilson from Teton Village, the pet-friendly Fireside Resort has 23 architectural cabins, each with a fireplace, kitchenette, private deck and flatscreen TV. In the summer, you can also book a handful of luxury tents with king-size beds, concierge service and glamping-level bathhouse with private washrooms, rain showers and heated floors.
